About the Series
Understanding the context and scope of the Digital Philanthropy Divide research.
The Digital Philanthropy Divide is an ongoing series published by The Strategic Steward. New posts are added as research develops. This edition contains Posts 1 through 5.
Series Overview
This series translates peer-reviewed doctoral research into practitioner insight for three audiences: corporate giving managers and CSR leaders, philanthropic foundation professionals, and digital-native giving community leaders.
The argument builds cumulatively across five posts: from the structural redesign of donor trust, through the systems that make it verifiable, to the leadership practices required of those building the bridge between institutional and decentralized giving.
Research Foundation
All frameworks and research presented in this series derive from doctoral work at Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology. The research examines institutional effectiveness, donor motivation, decentralized governance, and the intersection of traditional philanthropy with digital-native giving ecosystems.
Ongoing Development
The Digital Philanthropy Divide remains an active research project. New posts are published as research develops and new insights emerge. Readers are encouraged to return periodically for updates and additional perspectives on the evolving landscape of digital and decentralized philanthropy.
